Credit Assistance for E-Commerce Exporters under the Export Promotion Mission — NIRYAT PROTSAHAN supports working capital to procure or manufacture goods for e-commerce exports. This is repayable bank finance with interest support and a guarantee for the lender. It is not a cash grant or loan waiver. DGFT launched the scheme on 6 March 2026.
The notified limits are up to ₹50 lakh for direct e-commerce exports, with guarantee cover up to 90%, and up to ₹5 crore for overseas warehouse inventory, with cover up to 75%. Financing periods can run up to 365 days. The March guidelines specify 2.75% interest subvention, capped at ₹15 lakh per MSME per financial year. Parameters are periodically reviewable: confirm applicable rates, terms and charges with your participating lender.
Applicants need an active IEC, valid Udyam registration and a satisfactory eligible credit record. The guidelines include a route for new e-commerce exporters with at least one year of regular domestic e-commerce operations, and routes for established exporters with at least six months of postal/courier exports or eligible inventory in overseas warehouses or an E-Commerce Export Hub. The bank checks the applicable route and supporting evidence.
How to apply: first submit an Intent on the DGFT portal with your business, products and preferred eligible lender. Obtain the Unique Identification Number (UIN), then approach a participating lender for the credit facility. The lender assesses your application and manages the guarantee and interest-support arrangements. Finance is subject to its credit approval.
Prepare IEC, Udyam, PAN, business details, financial statements, CA-certified revenue/export turnover information, sales and shipping records, product descriptions and HS codes, target markets, the requested loan amount and bank details. The guidelines request three financial years of turnover information; newer firms should confirm the documents accepted by the bank.
